“Did I mention that I DO have a matchy-match diaper-carrying insert with bag-to-bag combat training?”

Ahhhh diaper bag, you know I still love you, baby. (I am waaaay excited about the Coach bag, tho. I wonder if it goes well with dirty sweats and barf-in-hair?)
Anyhoo, speaking of diapers, it’s official: Applecheeks are on the outs and BumGenius is IN IN IN! The final straw was when I put Jules’s big diaper on him the other night (I haven’t been using it because we had some pull-ups to finish off) and he woke up complaining about how uncomfortable he was and had red marks from the elastic that lasted for hours. I also feel like I can’t get the fit right on Kieran and I’ve had a few leaky incidents and, again, the elastic just seems too tight no matter how loose I make the snap settings. The BumGenius ones, although they don’t really LOOK like they’d fit as well, don’t leave red marks where the elastic is but they don’t leak AT ALL and held in a couple of massive poops today AND they have snaps on the front that allow you to make them bigger as the baby grows so you only ever need to buy the one size. Mah wallet likes THAT news.

Kieran In Green BumGenius Next To WAAAAY Long Man-Sized Leg of Older Brother (Oh and that thing above them is a piece of tin foil carrying the rice krispie snakes Jules and I made yesterday complete with candy eyes and decoration. What they are doing on MY BED I’ll never know but I kinda hope they’re still there cuz I’m going to bed soon and I could really go for a snack).

*just a note before he gets inducted into the Husband Hall Of Fame this gift was also to make up for the fact that I didn’t get so much as a CARD for 1) birthin him two beautiful babies, 2) my birthday, 3) mother’s day. But all is forgiven and forgotten in light of the new BAAAAAAAG!
